You don't need an ignition upgrade on a Honda. To justify one, you must be running high compression with race gas, forced induction, or some serious nitrous.
NGK is a good well trusted brand, but don't expect any better performance than factory wires. Magnecor makes the all time best wires, Nology makes some total rip off hyped up wires. But even with the Magnecor, don't expect a performance increase unless your wires are messed up, you are using a sensitive aftermarket ECU, or if your stereo gets lots of ignition interference.

Stick with OEM stuff. There are 400hp Hondas on stock ignitions for a reason.

I had a 92 SI hatch a few years back & the stock ignition went south so I decided to give the MSD set up a go. Keep in mind it was a totally stock D motor, it did help a little (not much) on throttle response & milage. But I could have made more power just by getting a header & intake. I've heared what the other guys are saying about only helping if you have like a boosted or really high strung N/A set up. Spend your $$"s elsewhere first. By the way, My MSD is still setting on the shelf as of now. When I put my JRSC on my R I might give it a try.

i had a b18b in my hatch with jus intake and exhaust, the msd wasn't even really noticable at all. Definitly not worth the money. do as HYREV2NR said and spend your money somewhere else.

Hmm.. I read somewhere last month in some magazine reviewing sparkplug wires. The MSD ousted the NGK wires on every test and gave better ressistance. But it wasn't by much. To my suprise the NGK wires performed a little better than the Magnecor wires. But this was just on Honda's.. other car manufacturer's will have different results. Magnecors are absolutely great on DSM's.

You not going to see a noticiable hp increase with MSD ignition system. I have one setup on my B18B hatch, and I can't feel anything better than stock, but I have it there for a purpose of reliability not performance wise.

Yep, I was always told that Honda's ignitions are two times more powerful than they need to be.

you won't feel the diff with a full msd cap, box, and wires, or even see an increase if at all. but with before and after dyno charts you will see the power ban smooth out.
