Default My newest Toy(56k get comfortable)

After months of looking, patience finally paid off.

I picked up this beauty for 800.00(It's running on 3 cylinders. But thats going to be taken care of this weekend.)
But this is how I picked her up

This thing is done! I'm putting in my d15b This weekend

Oh and excuse the huge *** battery. I had to throw it in to move the car. There is also an Injen CAI that I got with the car that's not in the pics

Yeah you gotta love deals like this. The car actually belonged to a friend of mine(Who did pretty much all the work to it) who sold it to my neighbor's nephew(who didn't realize what he had and treated it like ****.)

Oh well though his loss is my gain. I'm just glad the car is back in the hands of someone who can see it's potential

What do you guys think of the wheels??? I'm thinking of putting my del sol Si wheels on it but painting them bronze or gun metal like the hub caps on there now.
In a few of the pics you can see my other hatch with the del sol's on it.

I know they are WAY out of adjustment. And the picture does them no justice.

Oh and BTW it looks like there is wax soaked into the side moldings and it will not come off. Any tips to get them looking all black again? I think I might go pick up some of that bumper and trim paint.

I hate you....

That is seriously a steal for 800. I like the wheels that color myself. They look good.

Great find

Well I promised my buddy first crack at the 88 but but he is in AZ right now so if he can't make it out in the next month I'm going to sell it to the first person with the cash.

89HATCH I'll let you know as soon as I do if he can't pick it up

Thanks for all the feedback guys

HaHa yeah the other hatch andtheneon are also mine. But the Neon was givin to me for free and just sat there for the last 5months or so. I'm trying to sell it but obviously it's not a desirable car.

Very nice looking, but please get rid of the red emblem on the front. It really looks out of place. Replace it with a reg. one. But it is clean looking. I wish that I was near you to get that engine from you though

Nice deal. I paid exactly 2x that for mine which looks exactly like that, but with a DOHC ZC. I also had to drive to SoCal From AZ to pick it up.
