I was just browseing some guy's page on cardomain, and saw this...
Now, it would help prevent flexing but...would it actually help?

Re: Would This Actually Work? (jisu009)
When the first pic flashed onto my screen, I envisioned a guy with individual stainless steel strands, weaving them by hand over a stock rubber hose, making a stainless steel 'braided' line the hard way.

eh.. it was a joke.
However,it would help based on physics and the nature of the object.. but not enough to matter, or notice. Basically it would be immeasurable IMO.
one of the problems w/the ziptie deal is, it's not constricting the line entirley.. it cas still bulge/expand in btwn the parts that aren't ziptie'd.

I did this, yet my zip ties are much closer and tighter. I didn't really notice much of a difference. I have not driven the brakes to the limit yet on a track.. so we'll have to see.

Good, now replace them before they see a track.

Or if you have kids, you can zip-tie your youngest to the strut and have him hold onto the brake line really tight to make sure it doesn't expand.
