Ok,
there was a post about konig coming out with some new wheels in 15x7 soon,
with some early shots, I wasnt too impressed,

but I used to have a set of traffiks in 15x6.5, and really really loved those wheels.
i've always though of konig as being kind of underrated,
and they have alot of really good stuff, especially for EG's(the traffik and helium look amazing on eg's).

but anyways,
so I saw on tires.com that there was a new konig wheel, in 15x7,
then checked konigs site..
looks like these are coming out, all 15x7(and other sizes) and forged! various colors.

now I'm not sure if they're really forged,
it says they are.. but it says that by their color.. so maybe they mean that the name of the color is "forged bronze" or some ****,
weights are 12-14lbs for 15", which is light, but not forged light.

now you take those centercaps off and you have some really nice wheel!
prices should end up being 95-120bux each

anyways, I'm just curious what others think

I like thoose, very very clean lines. The middle rim is not my style, but that top and bottom would look great with a polished lip or just how they are.

if they retail for 100-150 they're certainly not forged...

My heliums say something similar to forged too even though they're cast from play-doh...

I love them and all but they're soft as hell... I hit a pothole that didn't even pop the tire and it bent one of my wheels.. still works and all and still balances out but it makes it a P.I.T.A. to get a socket on there to loosen the wheels...

I don't like the bronze but the styles are nice.

Oh and you can get group buys on those thing for like 400 at the most... I got mine when the heliums first came out and they were under 400 shipped w/o tires... got some perelli's off tirerack that were on clearance for like 23 a tire... It worked out AWESOME for me but I fear I'm not gunna find good tires that cheap again...

definatly would rock the 1st and 3rd...are they really going 2 be around 100 bucks each, and also forged? Damn i would rock those in a second over rotas. Forged = IMO. Ever seen rotas when they get curbed or bounced...they shatter....kinda scary

I'd take the 1st or 3rd ones. The first ones look like volks and the last ones look like Works. I'd rock them over my slips.

those are some pretty nice wheels... for the price.. you cant beat it either.

Believe it or not even Motegi is making forged wheels now.
At my work we're getting in a set of 10lb 15X6.5.
It took a lot of work to get my boss to even order these since I work at a ricer shop and he thinks the bigger the wheel the better.
