DIY Amber Clock

DIY Amber Clock
I recently painted my cluster, climate control, and defroster buttons so that they are amber and the clock looked like **** because it didn't match. I got the idea to use a notebook tab from Infinity_Racer who has done this already.
Here are some pics.
The tab that was used.
The clock all apart.
The clock with tab installed
The final product.

yup...when i installed mine and turned the lights on, the clock was too dim and made it practically non visable...so when you cut the wire, it stays bright at all times and bypasses dimming

Re: DIY Amber Clock (boostsohfast)
I just did mine tonight... man it looks really good, and it only took like 5min!!! I am going to get some paint and bulbs for the cluster and console tomorrow morning...
I was messing around with my cluster tonight and now I have 0 miles lol (shh don't tell anyone ) but it's okay... I am going to be swapping in my ITR dash in about a week or so I'll get some pictures up tomorrow so you can see how mine turns out
