Another VERY satisfied MAACO customer...pics
So I decided I would take the $386.92 gamble to squirt some more Frost White on my car. I must say, I couldnt have been much happier. I would say that I 100% got my money's worth. Obiously the car isnt PERFECT..but like I said, for that price I really cant complain.
The ONLY comaints I have is there is some overspray (can easily be taken car of) and they painted the front grill WHITE!!! AHHH (the good news is the owner said to bring it in ANY time and he will get it painted black for me. so its not that big of a deal)
Specs
-ValuePrep (sanded down MOST bumps and all scratches) and a sealer to ensure a smooth finish.
-Frost White Paint
-UV Sunscreen
-2 year warranty against any chipping, flaking, fading...etc
Total cost : $386.92
Time without a car : One week
The pics (sorry I dont have a nice camera) Looks so much better in person.
Would recommend Maaco to anyone on a budget.
Got it done at the one in Costa Mesa. Excellent customer service also.

Looks good. How long ago was this paintjob done? Because I'd be interested in seeing how the paint will look in maybe a year's time or so. I'm not saying your paintjob will go to crap soon despite looking good right now, but I just like to hear about long-term durability of things.

looks good
Everyone expects too much of Maaco and want it to be amazing paint. For the price, I was VERY happy with my Maaco paint job on my 88 Civic too. They did a great job, no overspray, and fixed any blemishes that i found

thanks for all the compliments...
trying to answer all the questions in this post.
as far as close up shots...my camera is too shitty, because its too sunny out today. That did not include door jambs, as this is my cars original color...but they guy told me he would do a full color change for I think $150-180 more dollars (still not a bad price. Its the same price regardless of the color of the paint (any color put on a car already) And yes, they also do bodywork...but I did it all myself.

Yeah, I would say the main thing with the cheaper integrated clear coat paint jobs is they tend to fade after a year or so. This can be improved by trying not to leave it in direct sunlight.

yep, thats a maaco job.. put it next to a clean paintjob and compare.. i can see how orange peely it is from those pix.. no offense, but people who get maaco jobs dont know much about paint and body if they think it looks good.. just my opinion, dont get mad

so there is some orange peel, big deal, almost ne one can spend a couple of hours wetsanding and buffing the car. O, but then u got one of those integrated clears, so never mind. You should have gotten an extra seperate coat of clear sprayed on.

I just saw this car in person today! All I can say is wow. I was simply amazed at what a simple paint job could do. The paint looks really good. I didnt have a lot of time to look at every single detail but from what i could see it looked great. It had a bit of orange skin or whatever its called, but its not bad. for Mikes car!!

You must have good eyes to see that from the pic provided.
