UR or AEM Pullies???
I was looking at getting a set of UR pullies, including the crank pulley...yes I know all the hoopla about it but some have had bad experiences and some have had great experiences.....more so great so im leaning towards the crank pulley also
or should I go with just the AEM pullies??? altho i do want the most power i can get out of pullies
also, where the hell can i get the UR pullies from if i choose to do so???
TIA

nopi has the parts you want...maybe even modacar....Dont know where to get them exactly, but Nopi "usually" has the cheaper prices.

I'm sure that they meant 2.2L. Alot of shops still aren't very familiar with the prelude motors.

Re: UR or AEM Pullies??? (MugenPoweredLude)
to get the best bang for the buck from pulleys, get the UR crank pulley and the AEM p/s and alternator pulleys.
edit: and if you running subs, i seriously suggest you get a capacitor.

I would get AEM pullies. I've never heard anything but good things about them. My friend with an civic SI bought them about a month ago. He seems to like them.

The difference between the pulleys on the H23 and H22 are the number of ribs on the Crank/Alt/A/C belt. H23 is a 5 rib and H22 is a 6 rib.

Ive ran systems in excess of 800 watts with the UR Alt pulley with no problem.Just get a cap and good batt and you will have no problems.

Re: UR or AEM Pullies??? (Mike95lude)
a few questions guys-i know some of you are saying it is okay to run a system if you have a cap and a decent battery but is this always the case? i am also looking to put the pullys in my lude and have heard that even with a cap i could lose my power...is this true?also- what pully is particularly attributed to losing stereo power or is it all of them? if it helps to answer my question(donno if it will)- this is my system set up..
2 vega 104 (300 W )subs, MB quart PSD 2 way componets, MTX t6103 amp (350 w X2)going to subs, MTX t4202 amp (85 w x 2) going to speakers, and a pioneer head unit.
if anyone can give insight onto whether or not ill be okay getting pullies, i'd really appreciate it -thanks

Re: UR or AEM Pullies??? (MugenPoweredLude)
I have had my AEM pullies for almost 2 years.
I have only had to change the battery once, Im using the OEM batt.
I have an audiobahn 600w 10 and a kenwood 600w amp w/ Pioneer 8000 head unit.
I have not had any problems with my pullies.
