My dads Pride and Joy 1970 Mustang Boss 302 (56k good luck)
Well I thought I would post one of the very first cars I wrenched on as a little boy. This is my dads pride and joy..and man I can tell you that EVERY nut and bolt on this car has gotten TLC. Me and my dad did literally everything on this car together..from the motor to the Porsche Guards red paint.
Its pretty cool to have a dad to shoot the **** about cars and my knowledge with honda/imports in general with him and his friends. As you will see below my dad got this car in pretty ruff shape..but having a eye for when things are done..you will see the aftermath.
Enjoy..
When the car was given to my dad from his Best friend
during
After pics...I shot the other day while visiting my pops

Thanks for all the compliments guys...
The restoration took around.. 2-2 1/2 years of patience..and as you all know..is a car ever done?
The coolest thing is about my dad..is he is a very neutral kind of guy like..and is into this hobby in general..so if its got 4 wheels..my dad likes it...He calls me all the time..asking about prices on integra and hatchbacks..cause he really wants to pick one up and make it a father and son project like the good ol times...
Thanks again

That's BEEFY. You and your dad get madd props from me. I wish my dad would be into something with me, he thinks I'm gonna break my car everytime I do something on it and always thinks his "knowledge" is far superior to mine. Dah well...that just means I have to tell him my mods are cheaper than they really are (so it's not as much of a "waste") and take a lil' "you're gonna wreck your car" jive from him. ANYWAY, that's a sweet looking mustang, I'd be doing the double take if I saw it in real life.

I guess sometimes I take it for granted...shoot I remember when I got my first integra in 1996 and my dad and I installing an ICEMAN intake system..the second night I had the car!
Thanks again for the compliments..and my dad says thank you as well..and maybe he will get to post his Honda project one day

That car is very nice. My dad would kill for that car. He had a 68 fastback stang with a 390 4 speed that he wishes he still had everyday. He has a 1954 ford f100 pick up that were are putting together now so yeah my dads super into cars also. Thats were i get it from. Thanks dad.

Re: My dads Pride and Joy 1970 Mustang Boss 302 (ScaleExtric)
I saw your dad's (Randy) post this morning with this link and telling us all at Vintage-Mustang Forum how proud he is of you so I had to chime in here. I've been on that forum for about 3 years now and he's is a great guy and is always willing to give some advice or share his tech knowledge. I'm still waiting to see the X-treme Stang project finished. That is one bitchin car.
It's great to see people who can appreciate the work it takes to put together a project like that. My dad and I started working on my first car when I was 12. He decided he liked booze and drugs better and quit about a quarter of the way through. I finished what needed to be done to get it running by myself and have since retired that one and I'm 80% done with my current one. I did it completely by myself. Anyone that gets to share this experience with their dad should be proud and thankful.
I also salute you import guys that actually know how to work on your cars and make them go fast instead of slapping on stickers and an AutoZone fart pipe and doing "fly-bys".
