Had a bunch of people asking me to post some pics of my dumptube setup. It was a nice day so i decided to wash my car and take some pics for you guys.

It's only loud when i get on it and the wastegate opens up, and even so it's not extremely loud. Raced a guy once and he said it sounded mean as i was passing him

Just a thought that crossed my mind: Would the air passing over it act as a small barrier when the exhaust gasses are exiting causing boost creep/spiking? What size turbo do you have and what size wastegate are you running?
Looks great!
Thanks a bunch,
Ryan

That's sweet looking. Not to sound like too much of a Turbo noobie..but what is the benafit to putting it like that instead of just down like normal? Does the wastegate dump make a cool sound? or does it help performance or something? Sorry about the dumb questions just curious.

looks nice, the new issue of sport compact car (with the yellow ITR on the cover) has a similar setup from the looks of it.

1) dumping wategate exhaust(excess boost) into the atmosphere
2)instead of spilling exhaust gas all over his motor and making it dirty..or his engine bay, putting it out the front bumper or in front of the front tire, it just helps keep the motor/bay cleaner and a little cooler as well.
