anyone using an oil cooler?
i know that on a B18C5, it's got a liquid oil cooler at the oil filter... well, the H22 has this too.....
i was wondering if anyone was using and aftermarket air oil cooler on their ITR. the reason i wonder, i was curious if the filter relocater would work on them the same as the do on a non liquid cooled oil setup (yeah, i realize that sounds confusing, but i think you get my point)

I know of at least two ITR's with aftermarket oil coolers. Search here and in the road racing/autocross forum.

The stock ITR oil cooler sandwich stay there. You just have to remove the oil filter, then put the Mocal sandwich on the stock oil filter bolt. The Mocal sandwich bring a new 20mm 1/2 bolt to attach on the stock ITR oil cooler sandwich. You couldn´t put the lines on the Mocal sandwich if you whould attach it on the block, because of the oil pressure switch. You need some lift to on the block to put the lines.
The Mocal sandwich is , mine came with the thermostat included.
That´s the main problem when using a oil cooler, how to remove the 0.5 litter inside the cooler, i have to find out that too.

It's the sandwich Adapter with 20mm thread size (Part No. SP1FT) I'll need, right?

With the M20x1.5mm adapter, you can reuse your stock filter.
I also got my Mocal thermostat'd sandwich adapter from RPW. They're right up the way from me. If you have a Goodridge vendor/dealer over in Europe, it might be easier to get one from them. The part number is: SBTB-12 (comes with (2) 1/2" NPT to 1/2" BSPP adapters). You'll also need a separate M20x1.5 adapter (EB-M20) since the SBTB-12 comes with the 3/4"x16tpi adapter.
There's also a "Blanking Plate" (BP-01) and "Sealing Ring" (SR-5) listed that might be the individual parts instead of wasting money on the included 3/4"x16 adapter and 1/2" BSPP adapters that you won't need anyways.
Personally, I'm tempted to use a 3/4"x16tpi adapter in place of the M20x1.5 I have now so I can use a larger filter from like a Ford truck or whatnot.
I use -10AN lines, but I haven't had the chance to measure the pressure drop.
I suggest using Goodridge PHS-10DB hose separators and Adel clamps (15/16" or 1") to secure the braided line out of the way of things.
Pictures of mine: I use a Setrab 125 cooler mounted sideways instead of 'fittings up'. I'd just as soon undo the lower hose-end to drain the oil than mess with stabbing and blowing stuff up.

Re: anyone using an oil cooler? (Dr Pooface)
Im running a B18C/B16A block head combo in a GSR, so no factory oil cooler for me
I used a B&M oil cooler ($109.99 from jegs).
However the POS didn't come with the right filter plate adapter so i had to buy a universal one to go on the back of the block(~$15).
The kit also comes with 1/2" oil cooler hose, which i replaced with 1/2" steel braided hose (a #8 from jegs i belive ~$69.00 for 15 ft)
However i used hose clamps and have no leaks, still haven't hooked up a oil press and oil temp to check details though.
Works really nice, oil changes are a breeze, except the first time. Had to go to NAPA and match the filter since no real numbers were on the B&M filter
I'll see if i can get pics up soon
