Shenandoah Circuit review and track map
First off,
To all those that "hate" on this track,... go somewhere else and mindlessly floor it, turn 90 degrees, floor it, turn 90 degrees, floor it, turn......etc....
This track is such a challenge to drive, I love it.
*off camber turn in's and track out's
*elevation changes so varying that even the SI Bus gets airborne @ T8
*lots of decreasing radius turns
*multiple turns with various apex's (depending on driver style and car layout)
*etc.... blah,blah
Mr. Scott said on Friday night at the instructors clinic:
"I wanted a track that was not antiseptic" and "I want to push lots of envelopes"
I say cheers to Mr. Scott for not conforming
We ran CW and CCW on Friday, then chose to run CCW on Sat/Sun.
P.S. the worker bucket numbers below are subject to change

Re: Shenandoah Circuit review and track map (B18CXr)
Bill mentioned that the turns from 30+00 (the right-left combo) might be removed at a later date.
He also said that T13 would get some more run-off room (fyi: I was at ~115mph on that straight (with a poor line thru the left after T10 (standing water)).
CCW seemed to feel better... but CW was also nice.

Anymore info, like a narrative of a lap? I believe this track is on the One Lap of America schedule for next year so the more info, the better.
Thanks

A neat picture here.

Now that I have had some time to think about it... Shenandoah would be a good track for a 'drifting school'.
...along with hpde's and such.
