No they won't. Prelude VTEC and ITR use the same caliper, rotor and pads if I'm not mistaken. A factory equipped Accord will not be able to use those pads though.

I thought the 95-97 Accord V6 front calipers would fit the same pads as the Prelude VTEC and ITR. Am I mistaken? I could of sworn I remember this from one of those many front brake conversion threads from either here or AD.

I could be wrong here but I'm pretty sure that's not the case. But I don't have a ton of knowledge on the V6 stuff so I'm not 100%.

I compared the part numbers of front brake pads for a '95 Accord V6 and a '01 Integra Type R on AutoZone's website. The part numbers are the same. 4-cyl Accord is a no-go.But it would really help to know about the Accord in question...

Maybe I wasn't mistaken. but...I haven't found the thread yet so I decided to look up the part number as well but I figured I would look on AcuraAutomotiveParts and SLHonda to compare. I couldn't find one part number that match between any of them go figure. They (92-96 Prelude VTEC, 95-97 Accord V6 and 97-01 Integra Type-R) all started with 45022 in the part number but the next two sets of numbers where different between them all.

I looked up a few different brands on AutoZone's site... Most matched, a couple didn't. I figure it might be due to slightly different pad composition. :shrug:As far as I can tell, the 95-97 Accord V6 is the only Accord to share the ITR's front brake pads.

I started looking into doing the v6 brake swap a while back and i compiled this list. All of these Hondas use the same front pad. 96 - 97 accord v6 94 - 97 accord wagon 98 - 02 accord v6 97 - 01 prelude 92 - 96 prelude vtec 94 - 01 ITR 2nd gen legend non-GS 2nd gen legend GS - apparently the same pad but dual piston caliper 03 -> accord V6 auto 1st gen TL 1st gen CL v6 00 - 04 Odyssey 1st gen NSX 1st gen CR-V this information is based on the Hawk website. which has acutal pictures with measurements on them take it for what it's worth

Thanks for the info guys. THe car is question is infact a 95 4cyl. Im thinking its almost cheaper for me to just swap over the V6 brake calipers rather than go out and have to keep buying Hawk pads. I have a limitless supply from my friend. The V6 calipers bolts up perfectly to the 4cyl bracket right?

yes, you can use V6 calipers but you also need the caliper brackets and the larger diameter rotors.Go to the Accord FAQ and read through the links in the Brakes section. That'll show you whats involved with upgrading your brakes to a few different setups.

Touring accord is right, you need the v6 caliper brackets, which are NOT available separate from the caliper from honda, or any parts store I've ever seen. So if hte calipers don't come with them, you'll probably have to go to the pick and pull

The only setback is I have powerslot big brakes on the car so if I need a different bracket then its not worth my while. Thanks for the advice though.

IIRC the blue pads are rotor chompers, for a DD, most likely being an Accord, I don't think I'd use those on the street.
