i was looking for sum rims and well i cant afford volk te37 and i saw rota made a model called grids and ssk 031 are another company. the skk go for a lot less than the rotas i heard a lot of bad things about rotas but i havent even heard of ssk? should i be careful? i am only going to be daily driving the rims but the roads are filled with pot holes. has anybody heard of ssk rims being fragile or a bad kind i? i tryed to google it but nuthing!! are rotas that bad if im just going to be in mountain roads? plz anybody with info much apprecitated!

i used to have the grids on my integra. drove on it for 2 years. and used them on the track quite a few times. and it was fine. and with the ssr. haven't really heard about them.

well, i have rotas gt3's... and i hit plenty of pot holes ... haha.. still havn't had any problems with them but I don't know about the ssk.

thanks guys well i think im just gonna go to my buddys at rspec and see wat they have to say because rotas are not bad even though people just dont like them because they are knock off but its pointless for me to buy $1500 rims if the roads are bad

SSK seems to be legit. The TE37 replicas that Rota makes looks more realistic where the SSK model tries to replicate a low offset while failing miserbly at the same time.

205/40-16, roll your fenders and having a camber kit that runs negative settings wont hurt either.

and tot the Op: i believe those 2 brands are basically the same a far as strength.

pick the cheaper.
