resealing split rims
So last month I picked up some 3 pc. split rims for 120 with tires after some research I found out their black racing wheels but I'm still not sure on the actual wheel model yet. They were beat up so I've completly restored them and now I'm at the point where I'm ready to bolt them back up and reseal them. I've been looking on wheel-******.com and other sites and I didn't find a recommend RTV or silicone to use. Does anybody have experience on this or can you recommend me some good stuff to use.
Here's a teaser pic too from the 1st day of work

Re: resealing split rims
no one wants to help because u posted a teaser pic, but I dont know what sealer to use.
it has to withstand high temperature, temperature variance, water/elements resistance, and be flexible for when the metal expands and contracts due to constant cooling/heating cycles.

Re: resealing split rims
I was already aware of those things but nevermind HT I found a local wheel repair guy that will reseal them for me because I don't want to have to take them apart again If I screw up.

taken fr here: https://www.rsracing.com/tech-wheel.html#inspect
Modular Wheel Inspection and Maintenance
Two & Three piece modular wheels require periodic maintenance. You'll want to work out your own maintenance schedule, but here's an example of what the manufacturer recommends.
Each Season disassemble, thoroughly inspect, clean, re-seal, and re-torque each wheel:
Replace wheel bolts each season
Wheel Bolt Torque:
1/4" bolts 15 ft/lbs. or 180 in./lbs
5/16" bolts 20 ft/lbs.
After thoroughly cleaning all mating surfaces with an appropriate cleaner, add a thin skim coat of silicone sealant to these surfaces, assemble wheel and torque bolts to recommended torque
Install a new valve stem
Add a thick coat of silicone sealant to the drop center area of the wheel and let it cure for 24 hours before initial use
i use this silicone:
