i'm planning on buying some axis oldschools, because its just a wheel that i cant get over for some reason. but my question is, what do i need to put these on my car without them standing outside of the fender? someone told me skunk2 studs?

any help would be great. thanks

they are going onto a 97 hatch. if that helps.

use 195/45-15 and drop your car to the ground w/ a camber kit dialed in all the way to full negative and have fun scraping freeway reflectors (i'm not joking)

Axis Oldskool - Oldschool JDM Style with Axis style and fitment, the Axis Oldskool comes only in a 15x8 size in a low offset that will most likely require some fender rolling and a pinched tire to fit, but if you have to have the "Old School" look, the Axis Oldskool is THE wheel that will give you the JDM look. (taken from the axis catalog)

how wasn't it helpful? because if you don't slam your car then it won't accomplish enough negative camber and use skinny tires it will just look plain silly with fender gap.

i will guarantee every single post after this post will replicate my original one so yourself. i know what I'm talking about.. don't be another guy riding 4x4 on some wrong sized rims.. it looks plain ridiculous. make it fit and drop it right.

</TD></TR></TABLE>So extending your stud length will magically decrease your hubs position thereby raising your offset in respect to the fender/hub location?? If anything the extended studs would be able to allow spacers which will push the wheel out (not what you want) and make it appear to decrease offset of the wheel... next time before you make a smart *** comment please read what an intelligent person wrote...kthx

okay if u want to use low offset wheels.... your going to have to sacrifice some stuff, ur going to be needing alot of tires, and axles lol.... trust i know lol.....

but if ur not willing to sacrifice any thing for low offset u better stick to +40 and up offset wheels.

haha we call the little white bumps manapua. lol

as Mr. Jenkins stated, run a really low profile tire and you would have to slam your car with a camber kit all the way negative to fit under the fenders. you would have to roll them as well.

if you don't want them sticking out of the fender run some wheels with some high offset. or run some fender flares if you want to run some low offset without doing a lot of modifications. this is for the guy that said to run skunk2 studs how they hell would that make the wheel fit under the fender?

ok ok, MY BAD.. like i said, someone told me that.. it was more of a question. i didn't really understand what he was saying but now i get it. if i don't DUMP the car will i have to do any serious modifications? cas right now my car is on SI's. and they tuck fine. yes, i do have a camber kit, but if i leave the coilovers set where the wheel is as close to tucking, without tucking will i have any problems with tire wear, axles, etc?

If you're going to buy Work knockoffs, they might as well fit. Drag DR20's are less expensive and come in 15x7 +40mm.
Real Work Equips 15x7 ~$335 each
Axis Old School 15x8 ~ $185 each
Drag DR20 15x7 ~ $400 for a complete set

p.s.- where'd you find the drag dr20's at (are they good quality? im not familiar with drag wheels...)? im in the market for some new wheels, and cant seem to find any cheap dealers.. i only found the flashbacks for like $400 a wheel

think theyll hold up daily driving, and a couple of track days? ...i wanna trade in my 96-spec itr's for some group n's (rnr knockoffs) but dont know how good the quality is. (dont mean to thread jack, just a small question)

thanks for all the different styles and namebrands.. but i really want the fat lip that is provided by Axis..

also. if i leave the coilovers set where the wheel is as close to tucking, without tucking will i have any problems with tire wear, axles, etc?
