Whats up guys I have a 93 eg and been thinking about doing some road racing. All my friends have been getting the Falken Azenis. I'm just wondering if that really is close to the best tire for use of road racing. If not please let me know your opinion on what is. I will probably getting some rota slipstreams, 15x6. Thanks

How much do you have to spend and will the tires be used for DD use? If your only going to use them for track use then I'd get Yokohama Advan A048 ($199 a piece before shipping) or if you are on a budget then get the Kumho Ecsta MX 205/50/15 are only $79 a piece before shipping I had a friend who used these on a WRX for track days and dd use and was happy. Also check to see if the class you plan on racing in has a specific tire you need to use.

I personally don't like azenis.. but eagle F1 and bridgeston s03 are one of the best tires i've used, good overall performance

Goodyear makes a bazillion different tires with the Eagle F1 name.

The S-03 is a street tire, and it was discontinued several years ago.
