If you're blind. The differences are VERY noticeable when you know what to look for. I can usually spot Rota's vs the same thing from a block away.

look at the 4 lug mf10s they look very close... the 5 lug mf10 looks way off in the center

They're not putting anybody out of business.

The people who buy Rotas would go with some other 100 dollar wheel if replicas were not available. They would run some generic mesh or spoked type wheel that sells for $100 instead.

They wouldn't be saving up 1600 bucks to get a set of Mugens or Volks or whatever.

If Mugen or Volk want to compete in the lower priced market, they could always release cheaper cast versions of their wheels.

Well maybe people like having "real" stuff on there car, instead of rotas, i had a pair for 2 months brand new tires and sold them for 200$ there not worth anything.. Now im saving up for a pair of bbs's, you get more respect for having a legitament car then haveing a car that has rotas a fake lip and cut springs, get my drift?

And im not trying to be a dick nor arguing im just stateing my opinion

to each his own id rather have spent my money on the car to make it handle well and put power to the wheels, 1600-2000 for a set of mugens/spoons would have me a very nice suspension setup or piston/rod/valvetrain setup for my swap, but there are people out there(hardparkers) that care about spending tons of money on a rim

You deffently right about that, but none the less have a nice suspenion and motor work all done fully built wise, fresh *** paint on it and then have a pair of rotas? like see where im coming from

Well thats my opinion, i got the jdm ego licence plate for a reason "I hate your fake wheels" i had rotas at one point i dont like them..

Oh I wasn't saying that there was anything wrong with buying the genuine wheels instead of the replicas. The genuine articles are definitely much higher quality.

I was only saying that the replicas aren't stealing any business from them, because the people who buy replicas usually wouldn't be willing to pay the big money for the genuine articles.
