Dunlop Direzza DZ102

Re: Dunlop Direzza DZ102
We hope to have the DZ 102 on our test track within the next few weeks (still some snow on the ground here in Indiana). We expect the new tire to be one performance level down from the Direzza zII, so plenty of grip for daily driving but not much for the track

Re: Dunlop Direzza DZ102
I really want the zII but I'm doing a little more driving this summer and I can see myself using more then 2 sets of the zII that is why I'm going for the DZ102.
I ended up ordering them in a group buy with my team. I should have them sometime in April as the car is still stored.
Once installed, I will test and give my opinion on them!

Re: Dunlop Direzza DZ102
any updates on these tires?
I just order a set from tire rack. I had a set of bridgestone re760 on my ep3 great tires. I hope the dz102 work well with my 3rd gen tl

The BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 performed a little better in our testing.
If a good summer tire is what you are looking for, the BFG takes the cake. The Dunlop is good, but there wasn't really anything that exciting about it. The BFG just shines that much more. The handling, the steering responsiveness, the ride quality....just overall a better tire.

My set of dz102 is coming in later today. Mostly daily driver, occasional spirited drive up and down the mountains. I had dz101s and loved them for what they were. Dz102s im hoping are a bit better. Im in az. Wet weather perfomance means nothing to me lol
Oh and 320 shipped for all 4 means theyre the cheapest decent tire in a 205/50r15.

I like em already. Just got them mounted and went for a little drive. They still need to break in but they hook up better than the dz101s. And (probably cause previously I only had them up front and randoms on back) steering feels a lot better. Even before the 101s were roasted the car still pushed a bit, but taking a sharp right hand and punching it out of the corner, instead of feeling a push the car sort of pulled itself through the curve.
Also, now that I finally have the proper rear tire size the car feels a lot more balanced.
I think they're aired to about 35psi.
Once I break them in a bit ill start beating on them a little more to see how the car feels hah.
So far theyve made the car feel a lot better overall.
