Driving w/ Spare Tire = Bad???
Long story short - I bent a rim early this morning and unfortunately it'll cost more to repair than to buy a new one (Sevas S-Star 19x8.5). It isn't losing any air at all but I don't want to drive with it and I need to get to work. Here's my question: What are the repercussions of driving with the spare tire and my 3 good Sevas wheels? I only work about 3 miles from my house and don't need to get on the highway so the maximum speed would be below 40 mph. I ordered a new Sevas wheel and it should be here within a week so I was thinking of using the spare for now just to get to work and back.
I know the spare isn't designed to be used as a daily tire but will it cause any damage to the stock suspension using 3 good wheels and this spare for a week?
Thanks guys! Anybody with experiences please chime in!

You don't want to put a lot of miles on the spare (it doesn't come with deep tread depth), and you don't want to drive at high speeds (it's not rated for that). But for short-distance local driving for a limited period of time, there shouldn't be any problem. So in your case, go ahead and use the spare till your wheel arrives.
Don't forget that you will get reduced traction with the spare, especially in rain.
