Default Bridgestone RE-01R Tread life

I've been thinking of picking up a set of these in 195/50/15 to mount on my summer wheels since they are on sale right now and my existing DZ101's developed a bubble on the sidewall of one tire.

My question is to those who have used them, if I don't plan on tracking my car this season and only use them as daily driver tires, what is a reasonable amount of mileage to expect to get out of the RE-01Rs? I will rotate tires and keep them inflated properly.

If it helps, I would not consider myself an agressive driver at all.

RE-01R's are a pretty soft tire. I'd be happy with anything past 10,000 miles.

Ouch... I guess they aren't really for me then.

If you want a summer tire with a little bit of tread life, look into the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS D3's, they're outstanding.

It sounds like you noticed the closeout price on the Tire Rack website, but failed to notice the quantity they have left is shown as "fewer than 2".

About 15K miles.

The F1 GS-D3 is indeed outstanding, but it has been discontinued in that size.

Assuming you won't use these in snow, I recommend the Yokohama S.drive for a longer-lasting summer tire, one that's similar in price to your DZ101 but offers a bit better performance than the DZ101.
