Re: ToxicFab's Fabrication pics!
Pretty much one work day nice
Hmm, maybe those welds looked a bit different cause they were not close up these look stacked more closly together Anyway, they are really beautiful
Do you manipulate foot pedal to get this weld look? I really like those ripples with much space from one to other But if it involves manipulating foot pedal, I wont be able to ever get a look like that

P.S. If it's not to much asked, I would really appreciate you taking a picture of bevel before welding Thanks

No technique looks great, i'm not hating here just something I noticed. You don't make the manifolds equal length but you do port and polish for hours on end. Wouldn't you be better spending less time porting and more time making them equal length?
Keep up the good work, maybe something to rethink on the new design?

Thanks for your opinion though, I do enjoy the feedback.

Re: ToxicFab's Fabrication pics!
Thanks Ricky, as far as equal length goes... its completely over rated in my opinion. Almost every noob wanting to buy a manifolds first question is "is it a equal length?" My goal is to make every manifold as good as I can, and these evo manifolds have proven them selves over and over again on the dyno. So I see no need for equal length runners, especially on a twin scroll set up. I have made hundreds of different types of manifolds with long runners, short runners, unequal, and equal length runners. The manifold I have posted pics of has made very nice horse power increases on both stock and upgraded turbos. So I feel what I'm doing is working fine. Now on the other hand, if one of my customers is dead set on a true equal length set up, I have no problem doing it. But I've seen a ton of my turbo kits, and manifolds go to the dyno. So until I see a problem with my design in performance, ill stick with it.
Thanks for your opinion though, I do enjoy the feedback.

Heinous.
Seriously, can anyone else even sell a manifold for an Evo these days? I'd think if you are offering that as your base model, you must sell ALL of the manifolds. Absolutely sick.

Re: ToxicFab's Fabrication pics!
I liked you're old welding technique better. But this new technique is growing on me. Probably because I switched up my technique recently to.
Your weld colour looks perfect. Probably as closes to bright silver as you'll get without having some super clever chill plugs rigged up lol
It also looks like you weld longer per bead? If that makes sense. Lol
Keep it up. It's a continuous stream of inspiration!

Great job on the last manifold!!!
I was asking myself the same question a couple of days ago.....should I make mine equal or non equal.....top mount or low mount )

Thanks bells, I've experimented with enough to see what works and doesn't. To the people that say porting is over kill. It's totally not, worth every hour I put in. Thanks for your reply buddy. Your work has me on my toes

Wow. I am NOT in the game anymore. I have some serious work to do. :S I agree, thanks for raising the bar. This will keep us all on our toes!
On another note, my bro just imported an Evo 8 ... we might just pick up a manifold from you! I don't know a whole lot about them, but I know he wants to go bigger turbo, likes the FP series but finds them expensive. Maybe I'll hit you up when I get the chance, if you don't mind spending a few mins on the phone!
Great work as usual. You have an amazing drive to improve, I haven't felt that in years in myself, guess that's part of the reason I'm in telecom now.
