Default smiley power plug

Smiley owners, please post pics of your power cord connector. I got mine yesterday and the instructions werent clear concerning the 220v connector.

All it says is that solid wires are hot leads and green is ground. But it also shows a diagram (see image) of another "earth ground." Any suggestions?

I went to the local welding supply store for my tungsten and filler rods.

I bought 2% Thoriated 1/16" and 0.040" (4 each)
They recommended ER70S2 1/16 filler for welding mild steel.
Seem right to you guys?

I would suggest 3/32 2% Tung. I bought a bunch of 1/16" and used it once and never since.

Ya but if we all learned to weld off a chart and out of a book, we'd all be pros, I'm speaking from experience on my Smiley Machine.

Contact me if you want info on how to make pedal control and what part numbers for Gas Lense set up.

Def get 3/32. Much better.

I only 1/16 on my little 24 series torch since is can only handle 80 amps and I can only find 1/16 collets and gas lenses.
