Holy **** dude! You can't even get a 1bdrm basement suit here for $545 and anything close would mean you gotta sleep with your gun under your pillow.

Yeah, $545 for that is insane!
I pay $1500 a month for a 1500 sq/ft. place, and it was much cheaper than all of the other buildings in my area, which were all starting ~$2500-3000 for 1500 sq/ft. I also pay ~$300 a month for electricity and then there's the phone, internet, visa/mc machine, security system monitoring, it adds up so quick, sometimes I wonder WTF I'm doing.
1500 sq/ft. is not big :

Id be very happy with something like that.. i dont need much more... 1500 a month seees pretty decent.. i found a 2000 sqft place around here for just under 2k a month.. which seems pretty well.. it has a loft office as well as a front office.
Gimme that S4 front clip so i can mock stuff up for mine. i have a mock motor but i just need afront end haha

Re: (Dr Pooface)
I just moved into my shop, $875/month for 1200 ft2. Most of the places around here are more like $1 per foot, so it was a damn good price, good location, and the nicest building we considered. Building is pretty modern and heat efficient, my only problem is that my rafters are 11'6", *just* short enough to not fit a typical 12' two-post lift, and I didn't even think to measure that before I got the place.

Re: Shop space costs... a little insight.. (JDM EJ1 95)
We pay about 80 cents per sq foot, that only includes rent and water. Some pics when we first started, and another pic from about 6 months or so ago. What you don't see is the upstairs area, and the show room / waiting room. We also have a parking lot that can hold about 9 cars or so depending on how we park them. A lot of things to keep in mind when signing a contract for a building like this. Cam is a big thing, so is the contract in general. I know one building we looked into, the landlord wanted to pin everything on us if something ever were to break. Right now our landlord and maintenance guy is great.
You can kind of see the white car on the right side of the photo, one more car is sitting behind there as well.
