looking at my honda manual it looks like that is a test port for vtec oil pressure. when testing the vtec solinoid. when vtec is engaged, it should have oil pressure. when not engaged, it should have less than 7psi.

i would have probably left it there without thinking, i know its a service test port but i couldnt remember if it was constant pressure or just when vtec is on... lol, thanks for the heads up! ill reroute it before startup.
btw thanks for the replies, i will post more pics asap, i just left my iphone wire at work so i cant upload them to the pc. ill do it tomorrow

just for the fact that its easier to fab up and weld, also a quick pass with some 800grit sand paper it turns out really nice. kinda personal preference.
but i know aluminum would have been a better choice for cooling but its also harder to source it, and the 180 degree at the hot pipe would have been much harder in aluminum.

now im looking at your oil feed line to the turbo..
that is the line coming from the front of the head right?
isn't line from the vtec solenoid which in turn won't have pressure till the VTEC is activated..
i know for a fact because i once hooked up a oil pressure sensor to it to confirm my Vtec change over.....
Im just ASKING if that is a good Oil source..

i started the car last night for the first time. it ran great, not exhaust leaks and sounds amazing. used a 650cc map from another car i tuned a while back, and i lucked out, it idled like a charm.
i have a video of it, but i have no idea how to pull the video out of my iphone. i will try again tonight and i will post the vids asap.
