We are doing a full brake line shave and wire tuck on this
It is full track now so abs is out the coming out in swap for normal brakes
(lines will go where you cant see them at all)
When all done and put back together under hood will consist of nothing more than and engine, radiator, and turbo setup

Well it is also for function to, make it easier to remove engine, and removing every wire not required for the engine to run (aem ems doesnt need much ) and just headlights so I guess you could say the 5-8 lbs worth of wires being removed is for weight reduction too
Main goal is to have one of the cleanest/fastest/slickest s2000's in the world
Also we are going to be offer a service for local guys for engine bay shave/wire tuck so it also shows what we can do in that section as well

Here are a few pictures from today, harness bar is in, still need bars to tunnel, top hoop, door bars, and front verticals, will be doing all of them the rest of the week

Not often you see an s2k with pedals like these (old man making me custom covers soon that will match factory but have bigger brake pedal to look factory)

Here is fitment picture with seat in the car, the seat is all the way back in this picture, fits like a glove

This car is the reason I must bust it and make manifolds, monthly payments of $500 for it, it was my daily driver, now my race car, lol I have no car at all at the moments have to bum rides everywhere, also got nothing else to blow money on so.....

ps:
making monthly payments on the racecar, running or not, gives incentive to get it running quickly and make sure it keeps running lol

Looks good james. Those solid mounts are going to knock the bondo out of your engine bay

is ther a rule book you are following for the cage build.. just asking cause most want the cage no more than 6" above helmet and seams to the inside to prevent braking open... looks good though

looks good James. Get ready to replace your fillings; solid mounts with the F20C will produce more rattling than youd think possible...lol.

As to the bond work, all small holes were filled with lots of tack welds then ground smooth, big holes had a large sheet of metal patched behind and bondo to smooth out, bondo is here mainly to cover the inperfection of my grinding, it is not the only thing on there, I just hope it holds good, if it ever fubars I will just have some fun with my plasma torch and extend the cage under the hood

They require the the .083 wall chromoly to be seamless to prevent this,
The hoop is only 1" above my helmet and 3" behind so it should work out just fine, I am building it per nhra standard rules, any higher on the hoop and it would be out the roof lol

Nope it is drag only, I imagine 800whp would really give me some bad oversteer

Also the tranny is 3 speed auto, not exactly the best choice for road racing either
