Default New turbo, time for new manifold***DONE***

***Finished Pictures on page 2***

Well I got my first brand new turbo. All the turbos I had before, they were used and I finally got enough cash to buy a brand spanking new one. So now its time for a new manifold to make the new turbo at home .

Not all done yet, but im happy with the progress I made in the last two days.

Gt40R next to Innovative T67R

manifold looks excellent so far but it looks like that compressor cover is VERY close to the radiator support. Do you have solid motor mounts?

That, and cook goes the clutch fluid, and seals in the clutch slave cylinder.

So far it looks very nice. But why didn´t you make the elbows fit a little better to the headflange? I ever press my elbows so that they nearly fit exactly to the holes in the head flange.

that will be plenty of distance from the clutch slave cyl.

thats not the flange im going to use. I don't have my good flange in yet, so I just used one that I had in the garage, just to mock up the runners close to where they are supouse to be.

once I weld up the runners, I squize the elbows in the vice to make them fit nice next to the header flange.

Very nice design for cylinder pairing and collector design. That will really take advantage of the divided gt40R turbine housing. Good to see someone putting in the time to design something well on there own.

It doesn't take half a brain to nudge/bend/hammer the rad support and give it more clearance. That's not even an issue, so why bring it up.

because people notice the wrong things faster then the good things. BTW I have about 1/4" away from the radiator support and I do have solid motor mounts. All three main HaSport mounts and Avid lower torque mounts.

Nice job bro. My new setup should be done soon. I will have to come check out your new setup when I go to dyno the car at Intec. Also can you help me weld some intercooler piping for me. I will have it all mocked up, just need someone to TIG weld it for me. I don't got your number anymore, shoot me a PM when you get a chance.
