I think it looks sexy. I'd drive it all day long without a body on it.

I have actually been looking into the GTM. I was just about dead set on finding a NSX when I come back but when you look at the comparisons for price I fall in love with the GTM, let alone it being something I "built" aside from modified

I've personally talked to Fran a lot though, and can definetly say he is extreemly knowledgeable! I've put together some plans with his help to build a SL-C with a built modular 4 valve 4.6L, a twin GT30R turbo setup, and a sequential 7 speed Xtrac. I have an extensive Excel spreadsheet that includes 99% of everything needed with the rough total at about $100,000 not including any labor.

The SL-C pictured above (built entirely by super lite) was selling for $215,000, so they're not exactly cheap.
Those costs for SL-C's are FAR beyond what I've seen. I've seen documented builds in the 65k range. These thing can be built on a budget.

On the GTM side, I'm building this next car on a MEGA budget...I want to see how cheap this thing can be done. I'm after the facts...we'll see. I'll splurge a little with fab in the engine bay and with a few body mods, but I'm after bottom line costs.

4.6L Ford engine...good god man...

lol. Yeah it sounds like I could do better, but it would be no normal 4.6L. It would be a slightly "detuned" version of the 5.0 "cammer" motors that's run in the Rolex daytona prototype series. ERL sleeved block, destroked forged crank, heavily worked 4V heads, dry sump...ect. They have proven to be very reliable. To me the LS's are just ..."meh."

Here's the Roush Yate's Cammer motor:
