I know nothing is there but can you show some under the hood shots. I am curious to see the possibility as using it as the "trunk".

Re: My mid engine RWD turbo CRX
lol i tried to make a post with a poll on it for how much people thought the car was worth, and i got flamed by like 10 moderators saying it didnt have anything to do with "tech" and that i had violated my terms of use...I think they thought i was trying to put a "for sale" in the main crx category

ha ha, still plenty of room up there. Im considering doing another one of these conversions to a more daily drivable car and finishing the under hood out as the "trunk"

Very cool!
Did you add a secondary water pump or keep the stock one? How are water temps with the long hose run?
And how much do you think it owes you?

Have to admit its pretty sick
kinda wish you would have paid more attention to details on the car and make it look a little better sense you put all the time and effort into the rwd. Not trying to be a dick or anything just saying.
When you took it to the track what did they say about it being rwd and i cant believe it passed tech lol

Re: My mid engine RWD turbo CRX
I grabbed an air/water intercooler off eBay for $60 shipped. It was off a subaru legacy. Since my car was only going to be used for drag racing, I didnt run a heat exchanger. I just ran hoses to a tank, and I fill it with ice water between runs. Just drain a little water and dump in more ice each time. I am using a boat bilge pump that I picked up at walmart for $15 to pump the water. There are a few pics on our website: www.cheaptrixracing.com.
Just an idea.

I guess I get to be the ******* here, but color me not so impressed. Pretty much ghettofabbed through and through, ugly wiring, no rear brakes, ****ed up harness bar, the list goes on.
A for effort, C- for execution.
