Milling Machine Value
My dad has an EMCO FB-2 115v milling machine. It was owned by a friend of his who passed. I have been doing some google searching and I have not came up with much. I have been putting it on craigslist and have gotten a few hits but I was not sure if my price point of $1000 is way off.

Re: Milling Machine Value
$1000 is on the high side. The round column mills lose their position/alignment when you need to move the head up or down, that's a hassle.
I bought an old Clausing, knee, bench top mill for $400 including the cabinete and the guy had it for sale for several months.

Re: Milling Machine Value
Similar machines are selling for ~$500-$1200 locally depending on whats included. Those are asking prices, how much they actually sell for I'm not sure.
But your machine also looks to have a gear transmission and rotary table/vice included so I would expect those to add some value. That z axis looks like it would be a pain to use though.

I would probably start the asking price around what you did. I would say 600-800 is fair but if the thing is in good condition than it could be worth 1000 to the right person with whats included.
