Re: Intake Manifold Production Vid (JDMCRX)
I think your gonna have to give a buyers discount after making them listen to that music....lol... Sounds like dancetracks from a gay bar
Nice work though...maybe this will give people perspective when they whine about paying money for fabricated products. Noob's search ebay then think everyone should sell at that price. I wish OBX and SSAC would release a behind the scenes video...haha.

Nice vid, but I'm curious when it gets sent to be stress-relieved? Or do you have enough miles on your customer's cars (or have a warranty) to allow for the elimination of the step which can help prevent cracking?

It depends on if you buy new or used. We picked this one up used but with very low hours and got a great price on it.

We've been making these for years and haven't had any major issues or cracking problems. A couple guys had meth/nitrous backfires and all it ended up doing was swell the plenum some. There is a warranty on the manifolds for workmanship defects, however.

intake manifolds cracking ? ive never seen an intake manifold crack around a runner, every one ive ever seen cracks at the plenum, usually an end cap. on a GE intake manifold, we had fuel rail mounts crack.
Jim and Brent take all things into consideration, and provide a great product. we have never had a problem with anything they have done for us. in fact it holds up better than the original manufacturer !
