I have the AEM/GM IAT sensor for use with the MoTec M4.... I put it on the charge pipe about 6" from the throttle body.

If you want...get a 1" diameter solid stock. Drill it...tap it and then cut to length. Weld it onto the pipe.

I just drill and tap the intake manifold. I didn't know I was ghetto

i thought this was what you were asking from the get go. AEM has them. You can make your own as I told you above.

You can get solid stock from a metal supplier...all my local metal/fab shops have aluminum in stock. (solid round stock)

I make them for the K-Series applications, aluminum weld on two piece IAT mounting adapter, Full-Race uses my flanges.. If you need a production run of a new item, drop me a line..

I run the GM/AEM sensor in my charge pipe on Neptune. I ran it last year with my S300 as well. You have to change around the IAT compensation, and the IAT values you log won't be correct, but it still works fine. The AEM EMS software has the calibrations for both sensors.

i would guess no. calibrated differently. (temp vs. voltage curve)

Yes it will work. You will have to change the trim numbers though.... in NpeTune that is.

Right, but in the AEM software (which is free to download), it has temperature vs. voltage plots for both sensors. All I did was look at the plots on the same axes so that if the stock Honda sensor has a trim value of -3.5 at 158, I moved it to a different temperature based on what the corresponding GM/AEM sensor is (so if 158 degrees on the AEM would read as 70 degrees on the Honda sensor, the -3.5 trim is now in the 70 degree column).

One thing to be careful of is that I think the GM sensor's curve looks kind of funny at higher temperatures, but its easy to get around that by using more values in the higher temperature range. I didn't enter any IAT compensation values below 50 degrees, because I don't drive my car in cold weather (no defroster makes it a little difficult ). Instead I just shifted everything over and added more resolution up top.

You can change them in both the Neptune and the S300 software.

I have the spec sheet for the GM sensor at home.... I don't believe it's linear.

A voltage table for s300 would be sweet if anyone has one we can reference off of i would cut drill and put this sensor in my pipe today
