Re: (Soccerking3000)
I'd be pissed.
I am a electronics tech for the ARMY NG and I am a tech at a nuclear power plant. I have the same welder as you too. If it doesn't work when you get it back let me know and I can take a look at it for you. I can compare the readings on my card to yours and troubleshoot it that way with my o-scope.

i called them, they were of no help to me. they wanted to charge me a grand for the circuit board, and the person i talked to didnt have the slightest clue what i was talking about/refrencing...

Re: (dturbocivic)
Post this right on the miller board instead of here and post the details and the pics and how they are of no help.... then for sure someone will help out.

I'd take him up on that offer, man. He can probably get it going if he has a scope and multimeter and working duplicate and a bit of knowledge!!

Re: (dturbocivic)
You sure it's not something else wrong?
I've found burnt transistors and other components are USUALLY caused by another component or system of components failing causing the latter components to "let out the magic smoke"
I've fixed about six amps that did that. The FETs would blow because something small would give out and let too much current/voltage by.

honestly i havent the slightest idea what the problem is.... i took the welder to a place that is listed on miller's website as a service center for miller welders... i waited for damn near a month before they could look at it, then they told me the board was the only problem. i specificly asked them is there anything else that could br wrong, they said no, everything else checks out...
