i used a A&B 2 part epoxy from Pittsburgh(PPG) paints. I walked into one of their stores and asked for the best stuff they had. It has held up for 3 years to EVERYTHING i could throw at it.

It is expensive for paint but i highly recommend rustbullet. It can be purchased online just google rust bullet and read about it. When the paint drys and has a very hard shell and have had it on my floor for years now. It works against dropping rotors and all sorts of abuse. It is a more of a rust inhibitor type paint but its very tough and the same colour as most shop floor greys.

Ive been using Arizona Polymer Coatings. I just did my buddies floor and it was like glass. I did my own personal garage floor with the granite look.

We used a 2 part epoxy available at Sherwin Williams. It is pretty much the best I have ever seen/used. Unlike what can be purchased at Lowes this does not come up. You can pour brake fluid on it and leave it for a week and just wipe it up later with no problems.
I cannot remember the name, but it was a commercial grade paint that they sold. For 5000sq feet it cost us like 2800 I think?? Its hard to remember seeing as we also had to paint the walls and such. I do know it was significantly cheaper than Lowe's due to the quantity discounts we got.
Best part was they could make it ANY color.

I was looking at the u-coat it system does anyone have any experience with that? I think it is 400 some dollars for a standard two car garage.

old, crappy, camera phone picture
brick floors in the shop. easy to clean, durable. but you must wear non slip shoes if any fluids hit the ground.

I did it on an entirely virgin garage floor too... as in we painted it before we moved a single item into my brand new house.

Re: Garage floor coatings you guys use?
dont use normal floor paint like the paint shop recomended to me i cant think of the brand i drive on mine and it lifts.
also the prep helps alot dont forget to prime the floor with some acid or something if its a brand new slab....
saying this about my floor i used a blue colour. and now that its peeling off i can still see the blue on the concrete and even though the paint is missing its still holding oil. which is a good thing and wont stain oil on it.
i couldve possibly stuffed it up and put to much paint on it hence y it peels and lifts

All of you garage floor coating questions can be answered there
http://www.garagejournal.com/forum
I've had my Rustoleum layed down for 2 years... It's been through welding, motor swaps, a boat rebuild, dropped tools, thrown tools, etc... and it's still looking great! How long it last depends alot on the amount of prep work you do to your floor prior to putting it down.
