crazy projects
Any of you guys put together rediculous cars or help with them? Ive done most of the "fab" on this car over the last year or so with almost no tools and a lincoln 135+. Its been fun everytime I work on it. I figured since this car is plastered on every other forum in the world why not put it on honda-tech since the owner doesnt post on here.
This car has gone thru a few different phases, heres a few pics from beginning to now. Hopefully this car dies this year so me and my friend Angry Earl can start something new.
then some cutting/welding and a few fistfulls of bondo.
then he got some new body panels
bombed with paint, diamond plate, and chains. a little drifting and some girls too.
Then came the vinyl. I tried to do a little bit but it was too hard. He did the whole car himself.
then more, and a "wing".
He actually got Best Graphics at HIN Seattle I think it was (its terrible in person).
And new exhaust.
Anybody else got some projects there oddly proud of?

Re: crazy projects (Syner-G-Racing LLC)
Drifting is a different world when it comes to looks and style. Its meant to be nuts, you dont get internet famous with a stock rx7 haha. People dont notice the guy with a "sleeper" car drifting his *** off like we would notice a sleeper honda running 9's or something. If you dont catch peoples attention you dont get there attention.

No ****. Sunburn much?
I think I saw this car a few years back at an Unnatural Inc drift event at PIR. Or I saw one that looks just like this one, when it was white.

Look at the car would you take the time either . And the no mask pics are just for neat looking pictures, holding the tip in front of the weld. I have a speedglass mask on otherwise. In all my accidents looking at welding with my eyes open (someone starts welding without warning) Ive never had my eyes hurt, just feel a little different for a few minutes, but I hear of others not being able to see for a while or eyes hurting for hours. That mostly exxageration or they just didnt look away as fast?

you've been lucky, i've never had it that bad with my eyes, but i've gotten sunburnt on my arms
but i've known people who have gotten flash burnt in their eyes and laid home all the next day with cool towels on their eyes, and he said it felt like there was sand in their eyes
so yeah...your eyes are not something to be taken lightly

honestly as funny or out of place as the car seems i dont think he is attempting to make fun of anyone. it seems to me that the point of the whole project is to make an obnoxiously loud car, both visually and audibly loud. its everything to an extreme. he would definately get a pat on the back from the japanese drift scene. maybe not by the americanized joke of a sanctioned drift series we know as D1. quite frankly america ruined what its all about and maybe earl is the one person who really gets it....so you sir are the sad one dont try to label something you dont have any grasp of. its pathetic and makes you look pretty ignorant

Its funny cause that is the ugliest car Ive ever seen.
"Dual exhaust" on a 4 banger..... A sweet wing that probably gives 50 hp.... Stickers that give at least 25 hp. I hope hes putting 110 octane in it cause it needs it.
Man that guy needs some education. But I love it cause it makes my car and my eductiona that much better!

Re: (random_tuner)
I picked up a 240SX for a 2JZ project and I must say the drift scene and the 240 scene is just brutal.I know it will die of soon enough, the trend hoppers will find something new and bail. The majority of these cars are a hack job It is pretty fun to watch these tools wreck there cars because they cant drive worth a shat

Re: crazy projects (hondalover91crx)
that is the fugliest drift rx-7 ive ever seen..... that car could have been built to look wild without making it look ugly.... e.g., diamond plate wing.

dude do you have any idea what an rx7 is? they are factory dual exhaust..its a rotary. i suggest you look it up. and as far as his useless diamond plating and vinyl sparkles its obviously a theme. he is not looking to benefit any aspect of the car with it. its obviously there to serve the purpose that it is already. being way out of proportion and sticking out among the norm. you really should be smacked.

well for starters you dont even know my background. Ignorant can easily be defined as your statment that "america ruined drifting." How? by parading purpose built machines and not freaking cartoons on wheels. "IF" you truely were part of the drift scene prior to D1 you would remember there were'nt any retarded cars out there...You got noticed by skill and intensity.
