testing waters: 97 civic coupe ITR swap (sourthern california)
i was wondering how much i could get for my car because im kind of bored of it. it was fast at first now im just used to it and my buddy has a z28 that keeps whooping my *** and he rubs it in. motor had roughly 30k mi and i put 6k, car had 180k on old guage cluster. only use mobil 1 syn. oil and mobil 1 oil filter. took it to the track only 1 time ran a 14.6 1/4 mi. on street tires. so someone make me an offer.
97 civic coupe-black:
full 97 JDM ITR swap with LSD (bone stock internals)
99 si guages
stock exhaust minifold
2.5 inch exhaust no cat
2.5 inch es tuning muffler
16 inch rota slipstreams black
yokahama parada spec 2 tires 90% tread
full msd ignition (cap, rotor, wires, ect...)
aem CAI
2000 si tail lights
2.5 inch drop (neu-speed race springs w/ tokico 5 way shocks)
ACT full face disc HD pressure plate

Trust me .. you won't get what you put in
I had the same setup ... jdm itr in 97 coupe .. w/ 99-00 si front end , buddy club wheels, suspension ... best offer i got was 7k ..... ended up having to part it ... sold car w/ dx engine .. and sold engine sep. .. lost about 3K (what i spent 11K .. sold everything for 8K by parting out).
Losing $$ in honda tuning world

its called no traction, my 60 ft time was 2.5 and it was the first time ive ever driven a track. and i shift my car easy i dont slam it into gears. i know other people with the same set up and with slicks they ran a 12.5. so im going to the track again on the 26th so we will see what happens then.

a freind of mines put 16K into his ek hatch. he's only expecting to get the most 7k
