Re: JDM integra supercharged, $50,000+ invested!!
actually i been playing COD 5, i got another set of wheels i had on it but im keepin them, the model was free :D
well the supercharger was $5500 the engine was $5500 front clip was $2000, another $2000 for the new head i ended up getting, $3000 for the paint an body work, the new bill from the block work was just over $5000, the nos set up was over $2000, start adding in the big brake kit, stage 2 axles an the custom interior all the suspension. plus the labor from the shop that did all the work which was $75 a hour..... it adds up.
i got recipts for almost $40,000 of it, plus the original build was almost 5 years ago, some of these things are cheaper now
an the 7.8 was obviously in the 1/8th mile

Re: JDM integra supercharged, $50,000+ invested!!
i listed a good chunk of money spent in my last post, i didnt put the car on here to see who could have done it better an cheaper.
im not asking for 50k
i think my price (which is obo) is pretty fair, the super charger an the motor when it was stock was $11,000 so for the other $3000 your getting the shell, all the upgrades the built sleeved block......
im sorry if joe mamma could have built this car for $100 bucks, that doesnt really concern me
(an yes modern warfare 2 is gonna be the game to end all games)

yea the markets not helpin, i have had interesting offers an trades but nothing i wanted to settle on yet. an yes these days you can buy an build an come up with something nicer an prally faster, but at the time this is what i came up with...... an its pretty much got a brand new built engine a its pretty clean..... maybe i should get another set of wheels since the ADRs arent winning anyone over :D

Re: JDM integra supercharged, $50,000+ invested!!
Everyone keeps mentioning $50k, why? That is what he spent on it, not what he is asking. He is asking $14,000 obo. I'm sure he is flexible. And he is right, a few years ago, this stuff wasn't cheap and not everyone was buying on eBay. Sure we can ALL build this car for a lot cheaper, but if you have to pay someone to build it, then that adds up too.
To the OP, I think you should take the $50K + invested out of your ad. People don't know how much it really cost, because most have never done it.

if your not interested in the car or have anything useful to add to this thread, shut the **** up. the ts has made it very clear he does not give a **** what you have to say about the 50k invested. he is selling the car for 14500 obo, not 50k. so quit bitching

50k? that's it??? i've invested in my car more than you did. =O
since the day i bought it for 5k, i probably put $100,000 premium gas since i've had it.
=P good luck with sale though.
