FT/FS 98 Honda CR-V 5 Sp
Up for sale or trade is my 98' Honda CR-V (The car you want this winter)
197,xxx miles will go up as driven daily
Features:
K-Sport Full Coilovers installed about 4/09
You can slam the car to the ground or drive it around as stock. It's a great set-up and $800 well spent. The car currently sits just maybe two inches under the stock height and this is my favorite height.
Reese Trailer Hitch - This was professionally installed and they did a really nice job.
Usual dings for a 12 y/o car. There is a small band of rust on the front of the hood and a dime sized spot of rust above one of the rear wheels. These have not changed or grown since I bought the car about two years ago. It does not smoke or burn any oil. I recently changed the front two axles and the radiator due to tears in the boots and a small leak in the radiator. Oil is always changed every 3000 miles or so. All season tires were brand new last year. The first two owners were women. I've used this car to tow a lightweight boat all over the place with no problems or concerns.
This is a great car and I've owned it for two years. I recently did a compression check as I was thinking about doing a vtec head on the stock block and the numbers came back 190-180-180-190. It runs healthy, the clutch is strong. I have car ADD, though and would like to see what else is out there. I've always liked Toyota pickups, older RWD Toyotas, 240's, ect. I would consider all sorts of beaters plus some cash.
Mainly looking for a trade, but as always, cash is king so my number is a FIRM 4800. I'm not so big into Civics or Integras anymore due to theft issues, but always like interesting and unique cars.
