.... really confused by this thread.. i didnt know h-t had a jokesters thread ...
seriously .. from a buyer standpoint ... do some research and then base a price on it .. it looks in good condition .. and 12k is not far off the path IF it had a 2j and a super60 on it . and was in very good condition . but .. the shell .. crazy ..

Cheapest TT supra? lol. theres a cleaner TT running car, in amazing condition for 11k... not bashing, but price is way too high man.
i'd love to have it though.

So... Let me get this straight. Someone took off the rear spoiler AND put NA brakes on the car? All to make it look like an NA Supra? Seems a little off to me. You sure this is not an NA Supra with 170k miles?
Just so you know, you may think you have the cheapest "roller" in the US BUT you can get running and driving NA supras for around the same price that don't have the cool front bumper:
(BTW, I'm linking NA Supras since yours is equipped like one. to get TT prices, your car needs to be equipped like a TT...)
12k opening bid, not a single bid. Runs and drives.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/SE-NI...5#ht_707wt_958
Similar miles, black, pretty clean. SOLD for 9500
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1993-...t_15773wt_1025
Higher miles, 8400 Little rough but runs and drives
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Toyot...d#ht_500wt_975
And this guy wanted 14k for his roller and could not even enter the VIN number correctly. WEIRD....

Re: FS: CHEAPEST TT SUPRA ROLLER IN COUNTRY
Post it on supraforums.
I'm a big supra guy... owned 3 now before i bought my gallardo.
Just for reference, TT supra guys tend to use the NA brakes to fit smaller rims (for drag purposes to fit the huge slicks.)
Just because it has TT brakes, and no rear wing doesn't mean it's equipped like a NA supra. Totally different engine between the two, different transmission, wiring, completely different rear end assembly.
If your unsure if it's an original TT or NA supra, just look at the vin. If the 7th # is a 2, it's an original TT car. If it's a 1 then it's a NA model. Don't be fooled guys by overpaying for a NA model because it'll bite you in the *** if you ever do decide to sell it. Big price difference between the two and everyone wants original!
BTW i sold a '94 TT 6 speed shell with 90k miles on it for $9k. Shells are hard to find, but you can find them. Usually range from the 7-11k range depending on condition, model and auto/manual of course... manual being more on the expensive end. So don't let the price fool you.

Re: FS: CHEAPEST TT SUPRA ROLLER IN COUNTRY
thx for the kind words konrad, you touched everything basically spot on as to how i wouldve.
I figured id get alot of bashers here but to those who know there stuff know its a deal.
To the others:
-you can post 100 links to reserve not met opening bid cars, it doesnt change that what i say is a fact, atleast for the time being...theres isnt a tt roller advertised for cheaper thats legit and needs less work.
-$12k+$2k = running for $14k and worth atleast $17k. id say 20.
-Im just posting a car for sale, and to most its a good deal. getting nothing but praise on most forums so if you have anything bad to say please just move on, i assure you you are wasting your time and it wont get a rise out of me.
in summation someone will be very happpy with this car, and get a hell of a deal on it. if you dont want that to be you ok fine but no need to talk about it and clutter up the thead.
