FS: 1998 VW Jetta GLX VR6 in Phoenix Arizona
I'm selling a '98 VW Jetta GLX VR6 in Phoenix Arizona.
Porcelain Blue
Automatic Transmission
70,000-73,000 miles
Leather Seats
Heated Seats
Bose Stereo with 6 disc changer in trunk
Moon roof
Spoiler
All Options
Car has been babied.
Normal minimal wear on interior and exterior, nothing more major then small scratches or dings.
Ignition coil, water pump, thermostat, thermostat housing, brake rotors, pads and tires(Nitto 450 Extreme Performance) have all be replaced recently.
All work has been done by either a VW dealership or a VW certified specialty mechanic. Have all receipts.
Only aftermarket parts are K&N drop in air filter and Neuspeed upper strut tower bar.
Mileage on the dash reads 3x,xxx miles exactly 40k short of actual mileage. Dashboard was replaced at 40k due to an electrical short. Have all paperwork to prove that and show actual mileage is now 40k added onto to what it reads.
Car is mechanically perfect and never abused in anyway.
Kelly Blue Book lists the value at $9400 and Nada Guide lists it as $9875.
Asking price is $8000.
Will have pics in a day or two, it may be placed on eBay next week.
Selling cause my girlfriend has to move back to NJ to take care of her dying uncle and we shared the car so we need the money to split it so she can fly home and we can each buy a cheap used to car to just get around.
Would not consider selling unless it absolutely had to be done. Very sad to see it go.

Yes, I know it's Honda tech but this is the classifieds for cars not just Hondas.

Xmas eve bump.
Been to busy to take pics tomorrow. Tomorrow xmas I'm free and going to the grand canyon so maybe I'll get some pics up after that.

Snapped 2 quick pics today at the post office, of course it was cloudy.
