Default FS: 1997 Civic DX Coupe LS/V Built

This car is my baby, however with the recession in full effect I am on my last limb. I would like to find out if I can get a few spare pieces of change to support my family. I am sort of testing the waters- If I cannot sell this vehicle at a decent price in its present condition I will just hold on and repair it. Send me a PM and I'll relay my phone number, if you like. Asking $1500 obo

The story:
I purchased this vehicle about 5 years ago with a new NSX kaiser silver paint job, a 2000 front end conversion with silver fogs, 98 Prelude seats in black, Si tails, and brand new Si rims from the dealership. The D16 in the vehicle was blowing smoke so I decided to perform a complete engine swap along with several modifications. Everything was bought new not used when I performed the motor rebuild or later down the line unless specifically noted otherwise. The fresh B18A1 open deck shortblock came from ERL with Darton sleeves, an 84 mm bore and ARP head studs. Carrilo K1s, Weisco coated 9.5:1 pistons, Fluidampr w/o A/C and P/S, Micro-polished and balanced stock LS stroke Eagle crank, Type R oil pump, and new Honda bearings were then fitted. An AGM 60 Ah Powercell and 160 amp alternator have been installed. The head came off an 89' JDM B16A and got a full race port and polish with new CTR cams, and a complete Crower valve-train. It also had a 3 angle valve job done as well. Skunk2 cam gears and a JDM CTR valve cover were fitted to the head. A 99' B16A2 tranny was pulled with 45K and fitted with a Cusco LSD together with new axles. This EJ6 then went to the dyno with a P72 w/ a Hondata S100 and made over 186 HP on a complete conservative tune. Tien Basic coil-overs all around, front and rear strut bars sit on the strut towers, and Nitto NT450s are mated to the hubs. The interior received a Si gauge cluster at 75,000 miles (upon purchase of the chassis) which showed 128,000 and is now at 131,000. Autometer SportComp 2 RPM, Oil pressure, and water temp gauges have been fitted to the dash. The front doors have 6.5" Alpine Type-S Co-ax speakers and the rear deck has 6x9 Alpine Type-S Co-ax speakers which sound great. 8 gauge amplifier wire, 2 RCA lines, and an amp power switch line have been installed in the trunk for future use of a sub woofer. The kit is made by Monster. A Skunk2 shift ****, Skunk2 short shifter, and CTR shift boot are sitting on top of new linkage and bushings. A Viper security system with a glass break and level sensor mated with a GPS tracking system were professionally installed by Sound Solutions in Bel Air, MD. The engine, transmission, and tuning have been installed by TSR Performance in Glen Burnie, MD. This car was never ran hard, never wound out, and never been speed shifted. It hasn't seen any track or race days. The motor and everything listed above has less than 3,000 miles on it. It has been meticulously maintained and broken-in correctly.

The bad:
The pictures here are recent however they do not show the slight damage the car has. The drivers headlight, hood, and fender need to be changed in order to achieve perfection but the only part that has obvious damage is the headlight. There is no uni body damage. I clipped a deer going under 25 MPH in 2nd gear which somehow made the timing belt skip teeth so the motor just needs new valves. I cut the power immediately after that incident but the motor will still run. I've moved from my last location so the ECU, keys, Title, and paperwork is out of my reach. I can get a duplicate title and set of keys upon receipt of the down payment. Don't let this slip away- it is the real deal! I never skimped on this car in any fashion. Title is clean
