94 Turbo EG Hatch Mid 11 sec car (Chicago area)- $5000
For Sale, 94 Civic Hatch. Mid 11 second car @ 120 122mph (have slips). Car is just a pleasure to drive at the track, pulls 1.7 1.8 60foots, no wheel hop, tranny shifts smooth. Currently running and tuned for 20psi and 110 octane fuel. Its not tuned to the ragged edge, its still got 4 or 5mph in it.
Motor:
B18C block, B16 Head, GSR cams, AEBS head studs, new Honda OEM head gasket, new OEM Honda ITR oil pump.
GSR tranny, ACT pressure plate, stock disk (holds fine)
Chipped P28, GM 3bar Map sensor, Tuned with Crome, launch control set at 7500 rev limit 8500.
T3/T4 .60 trim turbo, Inline Pro Stainless Steel manifold, Custom Downpipe
AMS MBC
8 FMIC, custom 2.5 pipes
660cc injectors, Walbro 255 fuel pump
Stock 1G DSM BOV
Stock 98 ITR suspension front and back, Prothane solid motor mounts. GSR front brakes with slotted rotors, newer pads. Car will be sold on GSR fat fives (slicks not included) Stuart Warner tach/shift light, VDO boost gauge. Full interior still there.
Typical Honda rust on wheel wells, crack in the lower part of the windshield, could use a new battery, had to jump it after sitting all winter. Fired right up, runs and idles fine.
No test drives, the car is currently not licensed or insured for street use. This car is streetable with the addition of an exhaust system (it is currently loud as hell) and a retune for pump gas.
$5,000

I'm not being an ******* or anything but I just can't see stock b18c1 short block holding 20psi of boost. Are there any internals that you forgot to list?

Re: 94 Turbo EG Hatch Mid 11 sec car (B18 CYA)
I've seen plenty that cracked a sleeve, broke ring lands, or threw a rod after 15psi. I simply can't see a stock b18c1 seeing 20psi.

its not really how much "boost" and engine will hold , its how much power the stock rods will support. awesome setup , good luck with the sale!

okay so now you are going to teach me how engines work now?
Most of the times with hondas you will crack a sleeve before you bend or throw a rod. And yes it is how much boost your motor is okay with.

Re: 94 Turbo EG Hatch Mid 11 sec car (MagnaniEG6)
Sorry for the crappy scan job, the hatch is car #35. 60' wasn't even that great on this run (car has more in it with a better driver).

The internals are stock as previously mentioned, People have gone much faster than me on stock motors. This car is NOT running a AFC hack or a stock Map sensor or other bullshit that used to blow ringlands at 15psi like someone mentioned above. Since it is tuned correctly, I've had no problems at its current power level.

/\ /\ This guy is an idiot. I boosted my stock GSR and bent a rod after spiking boost. Then i built my LS with pistons, rods...the whole nine yards EXCEPT for sleevs...i ran stock sleeves not even a block guard and put 28psi thru it. Held up just fine. Honda sleeves would only blow if you detonate...or break a piston or rod..and most of the time thats due to a bad tune
Bmup for a SOLID setup that is definately realistic and fast.
