2005 Civic Si EP3 With Full K20 Rebuild Kit $4,500
Northwest Indiana or the greater Chicago area.
I am selling a project that's been sitting in my garage. This package includes full K20 racing engine internals, and a stock 2005 EP3 in good condition.
I am not selling anything individually. I will not sell the car without the engine parts, I want it all gone.
$4,500 FIRM
Why?
In the middle of swapping daily drivers, need the money, and it's just going to sit for 5 more years. Insurance payments for nothing.
The car:
All electric and vacuum systems are stock, unmolested, and work as expected. The radio was upgraded, but I still have the stock one to send with it.
K20 racing parts (Parts were hand selected by 4Piston Racing in Indianapolis):
Engine Parts, all brand new, in box:
The bad, in current running condition:
The good:

I do have the carpet in excellent condition, forgot to include it in the photo
Sorry about the dust, the paint is excellent, and the moon roof works great.

K20 racing parts (Parts were hand selected by 4Piston Racing in Indianapolis):
Engine Parts, all brand new, in box:
- Supertech Pistons #p4-hk865-p11
- Paid ~$525
- Eagle ESP H-Beam rods #crs5470k3d
- Pins are already fitted by 4Piston Racing and ready for installation
- Paid ~$340
- - Cometic Head Gasket
- Paid ~$100
- Blueprint Racing Titanium Valvetrain # BP-02213-SRK
- Paid ~$350
- ARP Bolt & Stud kit #2084701
- Paid ~$220
The bad, in current running condition:
- - Valve adjustment needed if you don't plan to rebuild for a while, will still run fine ... a bit noisy, but I'm picky.
- - Needs brake pads, they squeak at some stops now Rotors are smooth, but about at %70 life.
- - New coolant hose needed going to the head. It's fine for now, but it drips once in a while. Smells bad driving and the occasional smoke puff from the engine bay. It hasn't been low on coolant, so it must be a few drops at a time. Coming from the outake side of the radiator, not the head side. It isn't dripping while the engine is off.
- Rock chips on hood haven't been touched up, and bad paint recovery attempt on a few patches of the front bumper.
- New clutch needed, it's on it's last leg. I drove it from Boston to Chicago without issue, but getting engagement is pretty slow.
- 224,000 miles, VIN pictured.
The good:
- New suspension system, tie rods, etc... See carfax
- Body is in excellent condition. No exterior rust or under fender areas with the hand, average brown-rust on frame: patches here and there, edges & bolts, no major deterioration, and no crumbling.
- Nothing needs to be done other than the clutch, rotors and engine rebuild (engine still runs).
- It's only $4500 for everything I need it gone.
- Hasn't missed it's maintenance. See carfax.
