2002 Acura RSX Type S Silver SUPER CLEAN Socal IE
SOLD SOLD SOLD
2002 Acura RSX Type S
Silver/Black interior
Clean Title (Vin Available for serious inquiries)
Approx 145k miles (more info below)
A/C, Bose System everything works
$9500
I am the second owner of this Type S. Bought it for my Daughter 2 years ago and recently she purchased a 2014 Honda Accord (trying to grow up i guess).
This car is in immaculate condition. NEVER abused/raced etc.
The interior is near perfect (i can't even think of anything wrong with it).
Exterior has some minor highway use but really not much. A couple very minor door dings too.
Here are some details:
Authentic Honda JDM Headlights
Authentic Honda JDM Type R Front Spoiler, Side Skirts, Rear bumper skirt and rear wing.
Authentic Honda JDM Type R Steering wheel, shift **** and Boot
Authentic Honda JDM Badging
Buddy Club Coilover Suspension (fronts 1 year old, rear about 4 years)
2004 Type S Wheels (one has very very minor curbage)
Interior is super clean, no rips, stains tears, literally looks brand new.
AEM Cold Air intake (my kid loved the sound lol)
With the sale includes the following:
JDM Type R Cluster (Kid didn't like reading KM)
OEM Acura Steering Wheel
Shift **** and boot
Front and rear shocks (had only 5000 miles when changed out for Tein Suspension originally)
OEM Headlights
OEM Wing
OEM Acura Service Manual
OEM Air Box
Adapter plate and controller for aftermarket Radio (never used it)
Now for some detailed info. Car is throwing the P1166 code. Do a search and you'll see what a pain this code is. I've just about changed everything and the damn light comes on. This would be the only reason it will not pass smog. I figure if someone is looking for probably one of the cleanest Type S around, they may want to figure this out themselves, otherwise as time allows i will continue to try and fix it so that it will pass smog.
Milage: This is all goofy. The Cluster was changed out to a JDM model when the car had 3500 miles on it. for the next 10 years until i bought it, it was smogge using the KM miles on it. After i swapped the cluster and not thinking about it, my dad had it smogged and they used the 3500 miles for the reading on the OEM cluster for the test. Now the carfax says milage issues on the report (which i have a copy) and shows 195k miles which is not accurate. I have proof and can calculate the actual milage for the car.
I'm not in a huge rush to sell and my asking price is just that and will take into consideration the minor issues involved.
I'm not interested in shipping this car either.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have about the car.
