2000 Euro Spec Yellow on Yellow ITR
thinking about selling my 2000 yellow on yellow Euro R
This is a one year only Switzerland model, only one in North America. And damn near impossible to find anywhere.
Car is a cool mash up of parts from around the world.
It's essentially a JDM ITR (including engine and trans), but LHD, with USDM front end, and a UK rear bumper. Of course badged a Honda.
I bought it out of Austria. Had a friend trailer it to the UK, put it in a container and onto a boat.
The car was owned by one family from new, have all books and keys, and a stack of service receipts from new.
Numbers matching motor.
Cannot legally import into the US. I don't really care if you do get it into the US as long as you pay me first lol Car is located just north of Toronto Ontario. Can ship anywhere in Canada no prob
Get in touch and we can talk
The car is not the cleanest in the pics, including the seats. I'll be scrubbing it up in the next few days.
Sorry about no user ID pic, I will post that ASAP as well

That is generally a felony in almost every state. Easy way to get the car crushed and a felony conviction.
I have personally prosecuted a VIN swapped PY ITR, and each vin swapped/removed/altered is its own individual felony charge.

Exposure is exposure and the law is the law. He's just stating the facts to warn others of the potential repercussions of such an act. Especially since this thread exists as evidence. Bam, jail time. If we let even the slightest bit of fraud slide, well, slippery slope.
Petition the government to reduce the 25 year rule and have the law changed. A bit of a stretch I'm sure but trying to skate around it by performing illegal activities is not the answer.
Or move to Canada and enjoy our 15 year rule.

Re: 2000 Euro Spec Yellow on Yellow ITR
The case I prosecuted was a PY stolen from a military members drive way in 2014 in Northern VA. I encountered the vehicle while on patrol in Richmond VA and saw a PY ITR parked in front of a gathering at a pizza shop. I went over to chat with them and make good community relations since I am a "Honda guy" and a cop - which is somewhat rare. I started looking at the car and saw that the VIN was covered on the dash and when he opened the door that the VIN stickers had been removed. My gears kind of switched and the car was a stolen PY with interior from a stolen NBP from Florida and the chassis stolen from NOVA. The motor was from a stolen GSR (MY 2000) also from NOVA and the transmission from an LS stolen from Maryland. The VINs were swapped from a wrecked DC4 and it looked very good and he probably would have gotten away with it. Needless to say there were (4) people who lost their cars that basically built this car, and the VIN swap was the root of it.
But you are correct, victim less crime and yes a great worker bee... mean while I am sure you do a lot for your community. Bravo
Ended up connecting him to the theft of an ITR dating back to 2004. His scheme revolved around VIN swapping. Totally victim-less... unless you are the victim. Shame on you for being so ignorant.
