1997 Honda Civic EX JDM B18C with 5 speed LS - $4500 OBO
Miles on Body: ~170,000
Miles on Motor: Unknown
1997 Honda Civic EX. Black with gold flake color, and it has a sunroof.
Located in Central NJ.
Suspension:
Koni Yellow shocks w/ ground control coilovers (400F / 450R Spring rates)
Whiteline 22mm Rear sway bar kit
Energy Suspension Torque mount inserts
Gsr fat 5s with snow tires
Engine:
JDM ITR B18C
PLM Toda Replica header
Yonaka 2.5" exhaust with Vibrant resonator.
Blox Velociy Stack filter with 3" short ram intake.
OBD2 P73-003 ECU
Drive train:
LS Transmission.
Other:
Civic SI gauge cluster and spoiler
Del sol front seats.
Aftermarket sound deadening added to doors and front floor panels.
Retrofit source FXR projectors retrofitted into stock headlights and DDM tuning HID kit.
98'+ Tail lights
Tint job @ 20%
Type-R front caliper upgrade
Integra rear disc brakes
Known issues:
Car needs a tune.
CEL is on for CKP sensor, I did the rewire but the light is still on.
Driver's sunvisor is torn
Front bumper has speed holes in it, but is otherwise fine
Recent repairs done to car:
3" Blox Velocity Stack Filter
New TPS and calibrated properly.
New front and rear brake pads/rotors.
Replaced the carpet with a very clean OEM one.
All new splash shields (inner fender and engine splash shields).
Fresh NGK spark plugs.
Alignment
2 fresh tires
No trades please, unless you have a turbo cobalt then I might consider a trade lol... MAYBE.
$4500 obo.

All in great shape. Front bumper just has speed holes in it. Otherwise fantastic. Might get a used front bumper soon from a fellow member here

Oil burning seems to have stopped. I ran some mystery oil through the car and its not smoking at all! Will check oil consumption and keep an eye on it...

seems the OBD1 ECU was causing it to smoke.... smelled like it was running really rich during VTEC. OBD2 (P73-003) ECU works great. This car really deserves a real tune though. Put it outside my parents house with a for sale sign on it. I'm impressed no one on here has inquired about it lol

nice car good luck on your sale
i have a b18c gsr with itr cams ls trans running the p73-003 ecu as well
its a good ecu but agree'd a tune would be better
to buyers ls trans shouldnt keep you from buying this car
b18c with ls trans still fun to drive sure not the fastest trans but
still pretty quick and great spirit driving/ freeway trans
