1989 CR-X DX 5 spd Silver
Well heres the downlow on a potentially insane project/track car. A good friend of mine woke up one morning to his uncle accidently ramming his Xterra tow hitch (literally at 3 mph) into the hood and front end (pics show). Frustrated, and lacking the ability to fix it on his own, he offered to sell it to me. The title, despite being clean NY, has a lein on it, which he is actually in the process of having lifted. But, in the spirit of honesty, for now this would be sans title. (You of course could have a copy of it for verification it is in fact not stolen)
The car had normal qtr rust on either side, but thankfully, he had it done right with new METAL welded in by a shop. These parts, as the pictures depict are primer and not silver. It has the original DX motor with a OBX header. The radiator was beat up, along with any parts not shown, and removed. I actually have a stock CRX radiator and the housing part which in the picture is not on the head. So, most likely the motor will be running. As of now, the only thing stopping it from running is the lack of radiator, as it ran great prior to the incident with the tow hitch.
Please pm me with ANY offers, including trades for worthwhile parts. I am not looking to get much at all for this, despite it being an excellant candidate for track status.

Re: (Byrd Gang 021)
I bolted off the front beam and the rad support easily. It can certienly be fixed, otherwise i would have listed as parts only. The frame looks undamaged and the only reason I am selling it is because the title status prevents street driving and thus would make it track only for me, an investment I can not make at the time.
