***1993 Delsol built LS/VTEC, GT3082R, PIC's, NSX brakes, over 14k invested***
I'm headed out of Honda's therefore here is my 1993 DelSol Si that I've built for 3 years. I've done all the fab work, paint work, engine building, porting so consider the savings in build cost yet I still have 14k out of pocket on this car. Chassis has 125,000 miles on it.
Currently the car is tuned on E85 and idles like stock. It gets roughly 19mpg with mixed driving. The manifold was one of my earliest made several years ago and does exhibit some boost creep if trying to maintain low boost levels due to the wastegate location and the fact the turbo is a ball bearing.
Overall the car is very well balanced, the wastegate is opening at 4500 with boost coming on at 3800rpm according to datalogs. This turbo is my most favorite I've ever owned....a perfect street turbo...quick spool but more than enough for big street power. On to the mods.
The complete mod list:
Engine:
LS/VTEC (pre-obd b16 head, B18a bottom)
Ported B16 head
GSR cams
UGR cam gears
AEBS intake mani
Hondata intake mani gasket
Omni 4bar
Precision 1000cc injectors
Custom Probe 10.2:1 pistons
Eagle H beams
ARP headstuds
Cometic headgasket
NGK wires
NGK BKR7EIX Iridiums
Fluidyne radiator
Full custom breather setup with -10an feeds and a custom catch setup
Jimfab front torque mounts
Hasport rear mount
Forced induction setup:
Garrett GT3082R (turbo made 589whp on an 84mm GSR at 22psi)
Custom sch10 fully TIG welded Goathead mani
Stainless 2.5" charge piping
3" mild steel dp
1.5" stainless dump
40mm Tial Wastegate (just added 9-20-09)
Greddy Type RS bov
Xenocron 255lph pump
Crome Gold street tuned
Chipped P72 Ecu
3ply couplers with all tbolts...of course
Transmission:
GSR tranny NO GRINDS even at 8500 rpm
ACT extreme clutch
ACT lightened flywheel
Suspension:
PIC Apex 1 piece coilovers
Skunk2 camber kit
ASR rear subframe brace
Function and form LCA's
Brakes:
NSX twin piston front calipers
Prelude 11.1" custom drilled front rotors
AEM rear 11" rotors
Spoon reservoir socks
Wheels:
Kosei K1's in 15x7 (flawless)
Kumho 205/50/15's 95% tread on front, 99% on rear
Project Kics Neo Chro R40 lugs (flawless)
Interior:
Gauge trio from Pro-Sport electronic gauges. Gauges have full opening ceremony and peak/warn functions
A. Electronic 30/30 boost/vac
B. EGT
C. Electronic Fuel Pressure
Greddy turbo timer
Custom mounted sequential shift light in the cluster
Also included is an extra DelSol Vtec cluster
DCsport short shifter
Exterior
The only exterior mod is a Civic EX front lip
Some misc. info:
Suspension, rack and brakes are MEGA clean. Car has been undercoated as well in the wheel well areas. Currently the car is running open downpipe, but I will include a Magnaflow oval brand new that'd be a perfect fit for the car and has a nice polished tip.
Car is very fast and shortly I'll be adding an MSD Digital 6, external coil and ignitor bypass. Also, the car has one spot of rust in the "typical" area, and I'll be fixing that shortly as well.
Paint this car, wire tuck it and put some seats in it and I'm confident this car is Honda Tuning worthy.
9,900.00 obo
I'm interested in selling, but I won't dump it for a lowball offer. I may consider removing some parts for a lower buy cost, but I WILL NOT part it out FIRST.
This car is built right, as I've been building these cars for over 10 years. There's no shotty crap, no corners cut...it's a damn solid car.
Some pics...I'll add the current engine bay pics shortly. I have one below prior to the breather setup being finished.

Thanks for the bumps. I'll need them, as this is probably going to take months to sell.

Only trade I'll accept is a 92-96 6spd Corvette, otherwise cash only. Leaving Honda's after a decade. Time to take my work where it's more appreciated and recognized.

In search of other enthusiasts more appreciative of my work and more willing to pay an appropriate price for it. I'll be back in a few years to build an NSX, as that's always been my true Honda goal.
