Ok, I have a 1995 accord wagon. It has a H22 swap and 5 sped trans. Just purchased I yesterday drove around and it was fine. Today drive for about 20 minutes, stopped at a red light and when I went to take off it would not go into first (or any gear at all for that matter) when the shifter is place in what would be "neutral" it acts as if it is in 2nd or third gear and will pull forward but is bogged down. Also after having it towed to my dad's shop it will shift only into 2nd gear but no other gears. We have also manually shifted it under the hood and still the same results, will not go into in gear except 2nd and in the neutral position it acts as if in gear. Sometimes it will go into the reverse position but will only stall as if it were fighting to go forward and reverse at the same time.

I'm having the same issue almost in a f23a3 prelude, I've heard it could be cables or a shift fork that's screwed up, mine I can put it in what I think is 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and reverse but it never ever moves when I'm taking off, but when I put it in neutral it acts like it's in 2nd or 3rd and is really bogged down but I can atleast drive it a little, what I'm going to do is take my cables out and make sure they are good and the shift fork and then if they ain't the problem probably looking at an entire tranny rebuild
