Default dumb clutch question

i recently took bought a xtd(ebay) stage 2 clutch from a guy that's supposedly for the rsx type s. i'm weary if it is a type s clutch kit however. it bolted on just fine without problems but my really dumb question is this. how can i be SURE this is a type s clutch? on ebay there are some links that show xtd stage 2 clutches specifically for base models and other links that show specifically for type s but then OTHER links that say the clutch kit fits both base and type s models. like i said the clutch kit bolted on just fine just deathly worried my car will blow up while i'm in it. the pic is of the literal clutch the dude sold me. looks like pics advertised on ebay as type s but also looks like the clutches advertised as base. xD i'm sure stupider questions have been asked so **** off.

It actually looks like the pressure plate has been used, given the wear mark where the throwout bearing will sit.

That is a heat treat mark, and does not indicate any wear unless a true metal on metal wear mark exists. There is no such mark evident, and given there is no paint removed on the mounting holes, that unit is brand new.

If you don't have confidence in the parts that you are planning to install don't install them. If you are really that worried about it exploding buy a better know clutch or buy a scatter shield.
