Default D16Z6 clutch / slave cylinder bleeding

I have just replace the flywheel pilot bearing throwout bearing clutch disc and pressure plate. Put the transmission back on and slave cylinder. I blead the clutch system but won't get any pressure on the clutch pedal and noticed that the did that connects the slave cylinder to the shift fork is pushing on the fork as if the pedal was down. Could it possibly be an internal leak inside the slave cylinder?
